While January is not yet over, I don’t know that I’ll be able to update the gallery again until February as things have gotten hectic again (hence the series 6 DVD caps aren’t finished…) so I figured I’d make a short update with all of images that were added this month.

I am posting this small update today to let you know that as of midnight January 18th until midnight January 19th, The Medusa Cascade will be going dark in protest of SOPA, the US internet censorship bill.

It is important for all visitors of The Medusa Cascade to know and remember that I, the webmistress, am an American Doctor Who fan and therefore this site is US-based and will be subject to SOPA if it is passed into law.

Please note that the gallery and video archive may be down for a little bit longer than the main site as the main site is on a timer whereas I will be taking care of the gallery and video archive manually.

Thank you and please do all you can to help stop SOPA from being passed!

Over the last couple of days, I’ve created and added three new love bars – one for Torchwood, one for the Tenth Doctor and one for the Doctor’s companions – please note that the Torchwood one does contain spoilers for the fourth series, Miracle Day.

I would like to apologize for the site downtime that The Medusa Cascade experienced these last few days. It was out of my control, but I worked very hard with our host over the days it was down for to get it back up as soon as was possible.

I would also like to let you know that there are no plans for The Medusa Cascade to go anywhere anytime soon. It may sometimes seem that way due to the lack of updates this past year due to the stressful times I am currently going through, but I promise you I am not ready to say goodbye to this site or the wonderful world of Doctor Who.

While I hope this does not happen again, I would like to remind you to follow us on Twitter. Not only are updates posted on this site such as this one crossposted over there, but if this were to happen again (which I sincerely hope it doesn’t), I will be posting updates as to the progress in getting the site back online along with possibly a few Twitter-only updates.

Updates will resume over the next few days with more additions to the gallery as well as some other things I managed to do during my free time while the site was down though they may come a bit slower as my holiday vacation ended on Monday.

Again, I am so sorry this happened, and I thank you for being patient during the time the site was unavailable!
